Professional Organizing and Estate Clearing

Organizing is my passion. Did you know that a colour-blocked closet can help you feel more peaceful and improve your daily life? At All Organized 4U, we are expert professional organizers who also specialize in collectible item appraisals, consignment selling and estate clearing. We know it is not easy to release possessions, and we want to make that process easier for you.

We proudly serve the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga and Durham Region, helping clients bring order to their spaces while also offering support with appraisals and consignment selling.

Residential Organizing

We work closely with our clients helping them with the basics of professional organizing, resulting in a more functional space. Our systems can easily be managed by our clients on an ongoing, daily basis.

Releasing Possessions

Should our clients want to sell unused items, we help them to learn how to post and manage online selling sites. Alternatively, we can post on their behalf and manage the online selling process entirely. This would mean, taking photos, determining the best online selling site, writing the post description, determining the selling price using appraisal expertise and managing the pick-up or delivery. We have expertise in releasing possessions on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, Posh Mark, Karrot and multiple Facebook selling and bidding groups.

If releasing possessions means boxing up and disposing, we can manage that for you too.

Estate
Clearing

Using the utmost respect, dignity, compassion and discretion, we help clients through the difficult and often emotional process of releasing possessions. Working alongside you, we sort and group like items, helping you make thoughtful decisions about what should be kept, gifted, donated, sold or disposed of. With a calm, organized approach, we bring clarity and support to what can often feel like an overwhelming task. We also take great care in identifying sensitive or confidential documents and ensuring they are handled safely and appropriately.

Appraisal and
Consignment Selling

As a credentialed member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), we provide USPAP-compliant appraisal services to help clients determine the history, market value and resale potential of valuable items and collections. We also assist with consignment selling and online auction management, using thoughtful grouping, photography and presentation to help items attract the right buyers. Detailed inventories can also be prepared for insurance purposes, estate needs or to present to potential buyers.

Preparation and
Organizing

We work with clients to assist in packing household items in advance of a move or renovation project. High-quality boxes are used, and each box is organized by item type and clearly labelled with the room and contents description. Our expert organizational systems ensure items can be easily identified when it is time to unpack. We also offer access to our trusted network of professional moving companies and storage facilities.

Office / Business
Organizing

With over 20 years of experience in sales, business management and accounting, we help clients sort through paperwork, create organized filing systems and securely shred documents that no longer need to be kept. We bring expertise in all facets of business processes, including accounting, distribution and manufacturing. We also offer small business bookkeeping services using Intuit QuickBooks software.

Kathy Brown, Owner at All Organized 4U

Hello, I'm Kathy!

Owner and certified personal property appraiser with a focus on antiques, art and other valued items.

As a credentialed member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), I offer USPAP-compliant appraisal services to help clients navigate everything from insurance claims and estate tax to charitable donation tax credits and personal sales. Whether you’re seeking accurate valuations for peace of mind or financial planning, I’m here to provide trusted expertise for your unique needs.

It all started in my 20s when I managed retail stores and had to organize and merchandise clothing racks and display cases. I knew I could increase sales by making my stores more organized and visually attractive. I would say I’ve used my natural-born organizing skills throughout my life in both my home and work environments.

In 2018, my mother passed away and left me with a house full of stuff. Not only was it her stuff, but also her parents’ stuff, my father’s stuff, stuff from both of my brothers and stuff belonging to my aunt. All that stuff is the result of a very good person with a big heart and an inability to let anything go.

Like they say, everything is for a reason…

Clearing my mother’s estate taught me a lot about how to research and sell collectible items and sparked my passion for organizing once again. I decided I wanted to become a Professional Organizer and a Professional Personal Property Appraiser to help other people through this process. I earned my Advanced Professional Organizer certificate from QC Design School in 2023. I am also a credentialed member of the International Society of Appraisers. This means all of my professional appraisals follow USPAP rules and standards. I’m so happy to be helping other people get organized and very honoured to be trusted with the sensitive and important task of letting things go.

Before and After Professional Organizing

In addition to sorting and professional organizing, I also ensure a thorough cleaning process. Every corner, from the floors to the ceiling lights, receives meticulous attention, leaving your space impeccably clean and tidy.

“When you come across something that you cannot part with, think carefully about its true purpose in your life. You’ll be surprised at how many of the things you possess have already fulfilled their role. By acknowledging their contribution and letting them go with gratitude, you will be able to truly put the things you own, and your life, in order. In the end, all that will remain are the things that you really treasure. To truly cherish the things that are important to you, you must first discard those that have outlived their purpose.”

A Dedication

This company is dedicated to my parents John (aka Jack) and Louise Brown. My mother had a big heart and cherished her family and everything she was ever given.  She taught me how to be a good, kind and honest person. My father was a successful entrepreneur and well-known military antique collector. He taught me how to work hard, follow my dreams and to never give up.

Oh, One
Last Thing...

Just because you are organized doesn’t mean you can’t have fun and collect things. I collect vintage Barbies, Monopoly games and Lego LOL!
